Hertfordshire

The Hertfordshire flag is a banner of the council arms, originally designed by the College of Arms. Released to the public in 2008, it incorporates eight white and blue wavy lines representing the many rivers in the county. The design was then registered by the Flag Institute  In the centre a gold shield bears a recumbent stag or hart referencing the county’s name.
